Roof Lanterns & Skylights
Flood your flat-roof spaces with natural light. We supply and fit roof lanterns and skylights with perfectly watertight, architectural detailing — the signature finish of a high-end roof.
A roof lantern or skylight transforms a flat-roof room — but it lives or dies by the detailing around the kerb. Get it wrong and it leaks; get it right and it’s flawless for decades.
We build and dress the kerb, integrate it seamlessly with the single-ply membrane, and set the glazing so it’s perfectly weathertight — combining architectural good looks with JLH’s obsession for a watertight finish.

Specified and finished properly
- Upstand & kerb construction — built to the correct height and falls.
- Seamless membrane detailing — dressed up and over the kerb.
- Lanterns, flat rooflights & walk-on glass — to suit the space.
- Perfectly weathertight — no compromises around the glazing.
- A premium architectural finish — worthy of a high-end property.

Roof Lanterns & Skylights — common questions
Do you supply the lantern or just fit it? +
We can supply and fit, or detail and waterproof around a unit you’ve specified — either way the watertight kerb is the critical bit.
Will it leak? +
Not when the kerb and membrane are detailed properly — which is exactly our speciality. We dress the single-ply up and over the upstand for a fully sealed result.
Can I add a rooflight to my existing flat roof? +
Often yes — we’ll assess the structure and form a properly detailed opening. It’s a great upgrade when re-roofing.
What’s the difference between a lantern and a flat rooflight? +
A lantern is a raised, multi-faceted feature; a flat rooflight sits low and sleek. We’ll advise which suits your space.
