Our Story
Specialists, not generalists
JLH Flat Roofing Services is a Rotherham-based flat roofing company with 18 years of hands-on experience. We specialise in one thing and do it exceptionally well: premium single-ply flat roofing.
We made a deliberate decision early on. Rather than spread ourselves thinly across every flat-roof product on the market, we chose to master the best system available — single-ply PVC — and build our reputation on getting it right, every single time. Today we're manufacturer-trained and approved across eight leading systems, and we don't fit GRP or felt.
That focus shows in the work. From a single-storey extension here in Rotherham, to a 1,000 m² green roof, a 3,000 m² commercial overlay — and even a roof we were flown out to Barbados to install — the standard never changes: premium materials, precise welded detailing and a clean, architectural finish.
We work for homeowners, builders, architects and businesses right across South Yorkshire, and we back every roof we install with a 20-year workmanship warranty. When we put our name to a roof, it's because we'd happily stand on it ourselves.

What manufacturer approval actually means
Single-ply manufacturers do not hand their system guarantees to anyone who buys a roll. Approval means the installer has been trained on that system's welding, detailing and fixing methods, installs it to the manufacturer's published specification, and can therefore register the finished roof for the manufacturer's own guarantee. For you it means two layers of cover — the manufacturer's on the membrane and JLH's 20-year warranty on the workmanship — and a roof detailed the way its designers intended rather than the way a general roofer guessed.
