Helpful to have ready (none of it essential)
- Where the water shows inside and when it started — photos of stains or drips help enormously.
- A rough size for the roof. Pace it out, or run it through the instant estimator first for a guide range.
- The roof's history — has it been re-covered before, and roughly when?
- Access: side gate or rear access, parking, and whether anything is above one storey.
- For commercial roofs: trading hours, access arrangements and any landlord or insurer requirements.

Do I need to be home for the survey? +
For most house roofs, yes, so we can see where water shows inside and talk the options through with you. For a detached garage or a commercial unit, arranged access is enough.
Can you quote from photos? +
We can give a guide from photos and measurements, and the estimator does the same instantly. A fixed quote always follows a survey, because the deck, falls and details decide the price.
I have an active leak — what should I do? +
Call rather than email, so we can prioritise it. Catch the water, keep electrics clear of it, and do not walk on a saturated flat roof. If the source is not obvious we bring electronic leak detection.
